Dear All. Please be advised that yesterday, we were made aware of the closure of the out of hours service at St Luke’s Treatment Centre. This service is currently run by DHU and provides GP and Nurse appointments Monday – Friday, 6:30pm – 8pm, and on Saturday 9am – 5pm.
We were completely blindsided by this decision, and we were not given any consultation or any further information. We immediately made Neil O’Brien, Phil Knowles, and Nick at Harborough FM aware who were all as shocked as we are. We will continue to do all we can to support our colleagues and campaign against the loss of this vital service from our town.
Please rest assured that the Minor Injuries Unit, run by the Medical Centre, will continue to remain open and available Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm and is open to people walking in with injuries less than 7 days old.
