Village Dispensary

Market Harborough Medical Centre

Market Harborough Medical Centre now dispenses to the majority of villages in the Market Harborough area. If you live in one of the local villages, we can prepare your medications for you to collect from the Medical Centre Dispensary.

Any profits made by the Dispensary are used to improve patient services.

If you are unable to collect your medicines from the Dispensary because you are housebound, we are able to deliver them straight to your door at no extra charge (terms and conditions apply). Please speak to the Dispenser for more details.

The Dispensary opening times are from Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 18:00 (closed on occasions for staff training).

Husbands Bosworth Surgery: All patients

Our dispensary team comprise of three professionally trained dispensers. They, together with reception/administration support, dispense thousands of items each month to over 6,000 patients in the villages surrounding the town. The work is strictly regulated and organised to ensure optimum turn around whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy and prompt delivery.

For those patients on a regular 28 day supply of medication the dispensary offer a monthly medicine management service allowing patients a regular collection service eliminating the worry of remembering to re-order their drugs. For those without access to the internet, repeat prescriptions can be re-ordered post or by hand. We endeavour to resupply patients with their medication within 48 hours of receiving a request but it helps our stock management if patients give us a few days’ notice where possible.
